Scope of application
This legal notice applies to all transactions carried out via the Twisting Cat website. By accessing this site and placing an order, you agree to the terms described in our General Terms and Conditions (GTC).
Products and services
Products on offer:
Twisting Cat offers designer cat trees made mainly of compressed cardboard, with wooden front and back plates. Detailed specifications for each product can be found on our website.
Availability:
If a product is unavailable after an order has been placed, you will be informed as soon as possible and given the option of a refund or a replacement product.
Orders and payments
Ordering process:
Orders are considered firm after receipt of payment and confirmation by e-mail. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided with your order.
Prices and terms of payment:
-Prices are quoted in euros (€) and include VAT for European Union countries.
-Delivery charges are added to the total when the order is placed.
-Payment methods accepted: credit card, PayPal and bank transfer.
In the event of late payment, interest of 12% per annum and compensation of 15% of the unpaid amount (minimum €125) may be applied.
Delivery and transfer of risk
Delivery:
Products are shipped to the address provided at the time of order. Delivery times are indicative and Twisting Cat cannot be held responsible for delays due to carriers.
Transfer of risk:
The risks associated with the products are transferred to the customer as soon as they are handed over to the carrier. Customers outside the European Union are responsible for customs duties and local taxes.
Claims:
In the event of delivery damage, contact the carrier immediately and inform Twisting Cat within 5 days with photographic evidence.
Right of withdrawal and returns
Right of withdrawal:
In accordance with European law, you have 14 days from receipt to exercise your right of withdrawal. Products must be returned in their original, unused condition and in their complete packaging.
You are responsible for return shipping costs, except in the case of a proven defect.
Warranties
Legal warranty:
A 2-year warranty applies to wooden structural elements (front and rear plates).
Exclusions:
Compressed cardboard components, designed to be worn away by cats’ claws, are not covered by this warranty.
Intellectual property
The Twisting Cat brand, logo, product models and photos displayed on this site are protected by intellectual property rights. Any unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.
